The Victory against COVID-19" by the ARTIST MINIGRILLI UNVEILED TODAY
Arezzo, March 4 - the unveiling ceremony of the work “Victory against COVID-19”, representing Nike, signed by the artist Minigrilli, reinterpreted with Greek epigraphs and a sphere representing the virus, will take place at 11AM today. A monument commissioned by Piero Iacomoni, President of the non-profit Monnalisa Foundation and Founder of Monnalisa spa, to celebrate medicine and healthcare, focusing on the great work of the doctors and all health workers in their relentless battle against such an insidious enemy. The President Piero Iacomoni stated "After spending a long time at the San Donato hospital in Arezzo, I realised more than ever the importance of the work of all health workers, who relying on their scientific knowledge fight against the virus, and who with their humanity fight against the fear that grips those who are affected. This statue, which I commissioned from the artist Minigrilli, is therefore a symbol of gratitude and rebirth”. The statue will be installed at Monnalisa’s Showroom in Arezzo, in Via Ponte alla Nave.
