Milan, July 31th 2019 - Monnalisa announces today the opening of its flagship store on the Alibaba Group’s Tmall B2C platform (monnalisatz.tmall.com). The partnership with one of the main marketplaces for global mobile and online e-commerce further boosts the Arezzo-based childrenswear brand’s Chinese market presence, bringing its refined range to over 650 million Tmall customers. The collaboration between Alibaba and Monnalisa is part of the 0-16 years fashion enterprise’s wider strategy which focuses on integrating e-commerce and physical store presence, of which it has 44 globally and 10 in China alone. “This agreement with a globalisation giant is a source of great pride and fits with our objective to reach luxury shoppers, perfectly integrating our online/offline presence and offering a truly fulfilling customer journey for our increasingly demanding base, many of whom are Millennials, and building engagement with our long-established brand” stated Andrea Mattesini, Monnalisa’s Digital Manager.
