New openings – Focus on the Far East with buy back and directly owned stores


The strong expansion of the retail policy of the brand continues, with openings focused especially in the Far East, starting with the recent mono brand store in Hong Kong. Thanks to a buy back action, integrated with new openings of totally owned store sees new openings happening in China this quarter: first stop in Shanghai, “Pearl of the Orient”, in the Ba Bai Ban and City Plaza department stores and in the prestigious L’Avenue mall; in Beijing, at Scitech, Shin Kong Place and Yintai Centre; in Shenyang in the striking Chinese “twin towers” of Forum 66. The short term aim of Monnalisa in this part of the world is to also open an e-commerce channel.

The long list of openings also includes a 120 sq.m  outlet at the Vnukovo outlet village, in Moscow. In Marbella, one of the most renowned locations of the Spanish Costa del Sol, we have a debut of a shop-in-shop at El Corte Ingles, an important chain of department stores of the Iberian Peninsula, just three months after the re-opening in Madrid.

Reinforcement is also taking place in Latin America where the brand opened a beautiful mono brand store in San Isidro (Lima) at the end of 2015, which will be followed by an opening in Panama, with its fascinating skyline on the Pacific, of a 90 sq. mono brand store in the Street Mall.
