Barbara Bertocci and Diletta Iacomoni – theMonnalisacreativeteam - comment: "Dressing the children of the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano once more - one of the most worldwide famous choirs - and after such a challenging year, is a great joy, an honor, and a homage to our country. We want Italian pride to transpire on this particular occasion, with dress codes inspired by tradition: for the girls, candid and romantic dresses accented by sequin-embroidered tulle, while for the boys beautiful seersucker blazers paired with impeccable blue trousers. A tribute to children, music, and solidarity. "
This edition, as in thepast, Zecchino d'Oro is the representative of "Operation Bread," a solidarity project which supports 13 Franciscan soup kitchens throughout Italy - supported by Rai for Social aims with an awareness-raising week beginning on May 24 and ending precisely on the 30th, the day the festival starts.
As in every edition, the festival features a competition among 14 songs sung live by 16 young soloists, dresse by Monnalisa, accompanied by the Coro dell'Antoniano directed by Sabrina Simoni. The jury will include famous guests: Pupo, Anna Tatangelo, Cristina D'Avena, Eleonora Daniele, and a jury of 10 children.
