Arezzo, 22 April 2022 - Monnalisa unveils its first four-handed capsule, designed together with Laerta, a young British influencer and a children's fashion icon who boasts about 1.5 million followers on Instagram, with an average of 200,000 views per video.
Collabs have become one of adult fashion’s main trends over the last two years - although are entirely new for children's fashion. Monnalisa considers them part of a strategy to make a range even more dynamic and contemporary, releasing "drops" to complement the classic looks of the collection. The Laerta collab is the first in a series that the company intends to release, also to build brand awareness among the pre-teen market and fits with its digital strategy.
The agreement covers multi-channel international distribution through Monnalisa’s direct stores, the website www.monnalisa.com and a selection of wholesale customers.
The Spring Summer 2022 capsule, made in her favourite colour, a bold pink, offers seven pieces that will immediately set a trend among her almost one and a half million followers, with the perfect Monnalisa look. One source of inspiration is the London skyline, which appears in contrast on the A-line dress.
The capsule includes sporty chic proposals in fleece - shorts, T-shirt and a cropped sweatshirt - with a trompe l’oeil-effect print of a fun necklace full of charms, and a skirt and top two-piece, with dégradé flounces in shades of pink, practical and cute at the same time. For accessories, a triple bow headband and a retro handbag.
