On the occasion of the gala event taking place on August 24, 2021, at the Roman Amphitheater of Arezzo, the gymnastics association Ginnastica "F. Petrarca" and the Municipality of Arezzo will present the "L' Aquila D'Oro" awards. The award celebrates the "values of sport expressed in everyday life." During the event, a jury consisting of the Municipality, Coni, Ginnastica Petrarca representatives, and from the world of journalism will present Piero Iacomoni an award for the "Commitment and determination" category.
The award is granted to the President of Monnalisa for skillfully combining his entrepreneurial skills and a marked sensitivity towards social awareness and the territory.
During the gala event, representatives from the world of sports: athletes, coaches, teams, and clubs, will also receive awards. They will have been directly selected by the citizens with a survey held on the Facebook platform.
